Weekend events in Osijek
6th BARANJA FERIVI HALF MARATHON (September 18)
6. BARANJSKI FERIVI HALF MARATHON Athletic Club "Slavonija-Žito" Osijek, in cooperation with partners, organizes the sixth Baranja Ferivi Half Marathon on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The start and finish of all races will be the newly renovated Tikveš Castle, widely known for its attractive appearance and the many famous actors from history who visited it. The trail itself extends to the beautiful, untouched nature of the Kopački rit Nature Park. In addition to the half marathon race, there will also be a 5-kilometer citizens' race and a "1 / x" 3x5-kilometer relay. Of course, the races are organized for the youngest visitors, so children's races for preschoolers and schoolchildren will be 200m, 300m, 600m and 900m.
The program will begin at 8:00 a.m. when the reception center will open, and the start of the half marathon is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. Children's races start at 11:30, and citizens' races at 5km and relays "1 / x" 3x5km are scheduled for 12:30. From Osijek, a free bus transport will be organized in two terms from the bridge of Dr. Franjo Tuđman all the way to the Tikveš castle, and in two terms you will return to Osijek. Also, various accompanying content will be provided; fun program, workshops, chill zone, fun zone, cheer zone, coffeee corner, lunch, music ... Over 150 people are participating in the organization, and the planned number of participants is 800.

FEBIRE - Croatian Cycling Recreation Festival
On Saturday, September 25, 2021, another febire will be held - the Croatian Cycling Recreation Festival. Association of Sports Recreation "Sport for All" Osijek-Baranja County, in cooperation with the Sports Association of Osijek-Baranja County and the Croatian Association of Sports Recreation "Sport for All", from 24 to 26 September 2021 will hold FEBIRE - Festival of cycling recreation Croatian. Febire is a sports-recreational and tourist-cultural project intended for all generations. It aims to raise awareness of the importance of exercise and a healthy lifestyle, to encourage children, young people and adults to engage in recreational cycling and the use of bicycles in everyday life. Cyclists will participate in the ride on the routes of Osijek-Baranja County and the surrounding area with departures from Osijek, Belišće, Beli Manastir and Vukovar. On the bike routes, refreshment stations are planned that will provide refreshment for cyclists. The arrival of 1000 cyclists from all over Croatia is expected.
