European Shooting Championship Osijek
That Osijek is a city of sports is confirmed by the fact that it is host to a unique sports event in Croatia, the European Shooting Championship, under the auspices of the European Shooting Confederation. The Civil Shooting Association Osijek 1784, organisers of ESCO 2021 in Osijek, is the oldest organized sports association in Croatia, and has been nurturing and promoting the tradition of shooting in this area for centuries.
This year, the event will bring together participants from more than 45 European countries and over 1,100 competitors who will compete in numerous disciplines. The event will last for 18 days, at the Pampas shooting range, which was built in 1985 precisely so that the European Shooting Championship could be in Osijek.
