Safe stay in Croatia
Safe stay in Croatia is a project of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports for a pleasant and safe stay of visitors in destinations throughout Croatia in 2021. The aim of the project is to educate visitors and stakeholders in tourism about the measures and protocols that are implemented at all levels of tourism in Croatia.
A web platform has been created through which all stakeholders in tourism can find information about what Safe stay in Croatia is, download security labels and leave their impressions. The Safe Stay in Croatia label is awarded free of charge to all stakeholders in the Croatian tourism sector and others who are part of the travel chain, and who register in the system. By filling out the admission form, they confirm and guarantee compliance with and implementation of current health and safety recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
On the other hand, the label allows guests to easily identify destinations, providers of accommodation, transportation, attractions and others who have adopted national and world standards of hygiene and health care. The Stay safe in Croatia label, both digital and in real life, informs all visitors that the a hotel restaurant or other tourism stakeholder is acting in accordance with the current recommendations of the World Travel and Tourism Council and the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
